Similarly, the addition of fruits like apple, guava and apricot compliments the veggie’s salads and fulfils the appetite.

Most people prefer to eat salads to lose weight or to maintain it. If you want to lose belly weight quickly and easily, then I will suggest you to daily eat raw vegetables as a salad. Healthy Salad Recipe of Fruit and Vegetables to Enjoy All Time

This recipe is very easy to make with few common ingredients, but it is very healthy to consume daily and is my go-to recipe of all time.

Ingredients

  • Cucumber 2 (chopped)
  • Carrot 2 (chopped)
  • Onions 1 (chopped)
  • Tomato 1 (chopped)
  • Cabbage A handful (chopped)
  • Lemon 1 (squeezed)
  • Apple 1 (chopped)
  • Apricot (optional) 1 (chopped)
  • Guava 1(optional) 1 (chopped)
  • Salt (optional)
  • Black Pepper according to your taste

Method

In a bowl add all the chopped vegetables and fruits and mix well.
Now squeeze 1 lemon, add salt, black pepper and mix well.
You can also garnish it with mint leaves.
Your healthy and easy salad is ready to eat anytime. Add any seasonal fruit or vegetable to gain more benefits from it. This salad is also very helpful to maintain weight. It can be served with dinner and lunch too.

Summer Salad Recipe to Beat the Heat

Summer is the season when you want to eat non-oily and light food yet healthy. Therefore, there is no best option other than this salad mixed in yogurt. This recipe of salad will also help to keep the body hydrated.

Ingredients

  • Chickpeas 1 cup (boiled)
  • Potatoes 2 boiled and chopped
  • Onions 1 chopped
  • Tomato 1 chopped
  • Apple 1 chopped
  • Cucumber 1 chopped
  • Mint leaves a handful chopped
  • Coriander leaves 5-7 chopped
  • Fresh Green Chilli 1 chopped without seeds
  • Cumin Seeds 1tsp
  • Fennel Seeds ½ tsp
  • Yogurt 2 cups
  • Salt as per taste
  • Black pepper as per taste
  • Chat Masala 1tsp

Method

Step 1

Take a bowl and add two cups of yogurt to it. Beat the yogurt well with a fork or beater for two minutes and put it in the refrigerator.
Now take another bowl.
Add boiled chickpeas, chopped and boiled potatoes, cucumbers, carrots, onions, tomatoes, and apples. Mix all the ingredients well and equally.

Step 2

Also add chopped fresh green coriander, green chillies, and fennel and cumin seeds and mix well.
Now take out the yogurt bowl from the refrigerator and put all the yogurt on the second bowl in which you have mixed all the ingredients.
Mix the yogurt softly in the vegetables.
Now add salt, black pepper and chat masala.

Convert this material into a serving bowl and garnish your salad with fresh mint leaves.
This salad recipe is very delicious to enjoy as a summer morning snack after breakfast.

Protein Filled Salad Recipe of Chicken and Cheese

Protein is very essential in our daily diet. If you are skipping your meals, I will suggest you have chicken and cheese (both are a great source of protein) as a snack. Therefore, there is no best option than a salad to add your protein portion. The chicken in the salad has a different aroma and taste. It is soothing to the eyes and delicious to taste. It also helps to reduce your cravings for fast food. I have two recipes for protein-filled salad one is with chicken and the other is with cottage cheese.

Salad Recipe of Chicken

Ingredients

  • Chicken Half kg
  • Cucumbers 2
  • Beetroot 1
  • Carrots 2
  • Cabbage handful
  • Tomato 1
  • Broccoli handful (chopped and boiled)
  • Olive Oil for dressing
  • Salt as per taste
  • Black Pepper 1tsp
  • Roasted Mustard Seeds ½ tsp0.
  • Cumin Seeds roasted ½ tsp
  • Soya Sauce 1tsp
  • Vinegar 1tsp
  • Chilli Sauce 1tsp
  • Lemon (optional)

Boiling Procedure of Chicken

First of all, take a saucepan to add two glasses of water.
Now add washed half kg fresh chicken in the same pan.
Also add soya sauce, vinegar, salt and black pepper to it.
When all the water soaks down, close the stove.
Now check whether the chicken is fully boiled or not? If it is boiled transfer it to a plate and let it cool down for five minutes.
After five minutes, make the small pieces of chicken (You can also have the desire pieces of chicken.) and keep them aside.

Roasted Cumin and Mustard Seeds

If you don’t have already roasted cumin and mustard seeds, then do it right now.
Heat the frying pan on medium-low flame. Now add seeds and roast them for 5 minutes till they slightly change their colour.
Your roasted cumin and mustard seeds are ready to add un the salad.

Salad Preparation

First of all, peel and chopped all the vegetables.
Now take a deep serving bowl, add all the chopped vegetables, small pieces of chicken, roasted cumin and mustard seeds and mix well.
Now squeeze the lemon and sprinkle black pepper and salt. Mix well with the fork.
Once your salad is ready put few drops of olive oil. It is very healthy and will make your salad juicy and aromatic.
Don’t forget to add some chili sauce as a dressing.
You can have this salad as an evening or morning snack. This salad also compliments boiled rice.

Salad Recipe of Cottage Cheese

This recipe is best for vegetarians. Cottage Cheese is healthy to eat and delicious to add in the salads as a substitute for chicken.

Ingredients

  • Cottage Cheese 10 cubes
  • Cabbage 1 cup chopped
  • Carrots 1 cup grated
  • Cucumber 1 chopped
  • Tomato 1 chopped
  • Broccoli 1 cup chopped and boiled
  • Celery handful chopped
  • Olive Oil 1tsp
  • Turmeric Powder ½ tsp
  • Red Chilli Flakes 1tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Black Pepper 1tbsp
  • Mint leaves 5-7 chopped

Roasted Cottage Cheese

Make sure you have the already prepared cottage cheese at home before making a salad. (You can read the easy and quick recipe of cottage cheese in my other articles).
In the salad, I will suggest you always add roasted cottage cheese.
Heat the frying pan and grease it with olive oil.
Now add the cubes of cottage cheese. Also add a pinch of salt, turmeric powder and red chilli flakes.
Stir-fry them till the cottage cheese change its colour into light golden brown. Take them out and set them aside.

Preparation of Salad

In a serving bowl, mix all the chopped vegetables.
Now add roasted cottage cheese (you can chop the cottage cheese too. I usually like them in their size).
Sprinkle black pepper and garnish with mint leaves.

Fruit Salad Recipe for Dinner to Replace the Sweet Deserts

You controlled yourself to eat unhealthy food the entire day but at dinner, you just waste your struggle of an entire day because of your sweet tooth. Therefore, I have a wonderful trick to replace your sweet dessert with a cold and yummy healthy fruit salad.

Ingredients

  • Apples 2 chopped
  • Bananas 2 chopped
  • Grapes 1bunch cut into two parts
  • Dates 5 chopped
  • Soaked and Peeled Almonds 5 chopped
  • Raisins 7 soaked
  • Walnuts 2 chopped
  • Honey for dressing
  • Peanut Butter (optional)
  • Milk Cream
  • Chocolate Flakes 1tsp (as a treat)

Preparation

Step 1

In a bowl, beat the cream with a fork for at least 5 minutes.
Now add apples, bananas, grapes, dates, almonds, walnuts and raisins.
Mix all the ingredients well in the cream.
Transfer this mixture into a beautiful serving bowl.

Step 2

Dressing with honey and peanut butter will enhance the taste and look.
Now keep it in the freezer for 1 hour.
Garnish it with chocolate flakes at the time of serving. You will forget all other unhealthy desserts after dinner. It is easy to make and healthy to eat.

Best Salad Recipes of Chickpeas and Red Lentils for Lunch

Chickpeas and Red Lentils are important sources of protein and iron. The soft texture of boiled chickpeas and red lentils increases the taste of the salad and fulfills your hunger. The combination of chickpeas and red lentils with cucumbers, apples and carrots is pleasant to the eyes. This rainbow salad is best as a summer snack.

Ingredients

  • Chickpeas 1 cup (boiled)
  • Red Lentils 1 cup (boiled)
  • Cucumber 1 (chopped)
  • Carrot 1 (chopped or grated)
  • Small Size Onion 1 (chopped)
  • Tomato 1 (chopped)
  • Apple 1 (chopped)
  • Fresh Mint and Coriander leaves handful (chopped)
  • Orange Juice half-cup (optional)
  • Green Capsicum 1 (chopped)
  • Salt very less
  • Black Pepper or Chat Masala 1tbsp
  • Olive Oil (optional) add a few drops of it if you are not adding orange juice for juicy texture.

Preparation of Salad

Step 1

First of all, boil chickpeas and red lentils one day before making salad and freeze them in the refrigerator. Doing this your time will consume and you can easily make the salad. (You can freeze boiled chickpeas and red lentils for three months in the refrigerator).
Now chopped all the desire vegetables and fruits you want to add and also squeeze the orange juice because I like the juicy texture of the salad.
Take a deep serving bowl, add chopped vegetables, fruits, chickpeas, red lentils, fresh mint and coriander leaves and mix well.

Step 2

Now pour some orange juice and mix.
Now add salt, black pepper or chat masala and mix well.
If you are not adding orange juice to our salad then dress it with few drops of olive oil.
Enjoy your perfect salad recipe with lunch or as a snack. The combination of this salad with mint and zeera raita is also scrumptious and compliments each other.

Pasta Salad Recipe as an Evening Snack

Have you ever tried pasta, macaroni and noodles in your salads? If no, then try it right now because I have an amazing and quick recipe for a pasta salad for evening snacks. You can proudly make this instant and yummy salad if you are expecting guests at your home. So here is the recipe.

Ingredients

  • Pasta 1 packet
  • Cabbage 1 cup chopped
  • Capsicum 2 chopped
  • Chicken 2 pieces (boiled and chopped)
  • Tomato 1 chopped
  • Carrot 1 chopped
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper
  • Paprika
  • Chilli Sauce
  • Coriander Leaves
  • Cooking Oil 1tbsp
  • Olive Oil few drops
  • Water 2 glasses

Step 1 Boiling Procedure of Pasta

In a deep saucepan, add two glasses of water. When the water starts bubbling add one packet of pasta to it.
Now add 4-5 drops of cooking oil and 1tsp of salt.
Let it boil for 2-5 minutes till your pasta boils correctly.
Once the pasta is boiled, close the stove and carefully strain the hot water.
When your hot water is strained from pasta, pour cold or normal water into it.
Now transfer pasta into a bowl and add few drops of olive oil and mix well. (Doing this your pasta will always remain fresh and soft).

Step 2 Preparation of Salad

In a serving bowl put all the chopped vegetables.
Now add pasta and chicken pieces together and mix well.
Also add paprika, salt, black pepper and few drops of olive oil and mix well.
Now garnish it with chili sauce.
Your spicy and delicious pasta salad is ready to serve as an evening snack. You can also add boiled corns to it for more variations. Enjoy this pasta salad with any seasonal fresh juice of the fruit.

Ingredients

  • Milk Cream 3tbsp
  • Mayonnaise 2tbsp
  • Yogurt 2tbsp
  • Potato 2 medium-sized boil and chop
  • Pineapple half cup
  • Chicken 2-3 pieces boil and cut into small pieces
  • Apple 1 chopped
  • Grapes 10 cut into two parts

Preparation of Salad

Step 1

Take a deep bowl, add cream, mayonnaise and yogurt together. Mix them well and beat for at least 5 minutes.

Add all the other ingredients one by one and mix well gently.

Step 2

Keep it in the refrigerator for half an hour.
